Accreditation

Program Overview

The conference will deliver focused, educational updates highlighting clinically relevant advances in the management of patients with CLD and GI disorders to attendees and will feature an interactive format designed to enhance the educational impact. Internationally renowned hepatologists and gastroenterologists will lead the development of educational content and will serve as program faculty. The faculty will review state of the art advances in CLD and GI disorders. The conference will deliver emerging science and incorporate expert opinions on best practices for the diagnosis and management of patients.

 

Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of gastroenterologists, hepatologists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants involved in the care of patients with CLD & GI Disorders.

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe current guidelines for the diagnosis and management of CLD and GI disorders.

  • Employ an evidence-based approach to the management of CLD and GI disorders.

  • Identify new advances presented at 2025 DDW and assess their potential impact on clinical practice.

 

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of Cincinnati and the Professional Alliance for Continuing Education (PACE. The University of Cincinnati is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

The University of Cincinnati designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MOC Designation

​Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 7.5 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.​

In accordance with the ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education and the University of Cincinnati policy, all faculty, planning committee members, and other individuals, who are in a position to control content, are required to disclose all relationships with ineligible companies* (commercial interests) within the last 24 months. All educational materials are reviewed for fair balance, scientific objectivity, and levels of evidence. The ACCME requires us to disqualify from involvement in the planning and implementation of accredited continuing education any individuals (1) who refuse to provide this information or (2) whose conflicts of interests cannot be mitigated.

 

*Companies that are ineligible to be accredited in the ACCME System (ineligible companies) are those whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients.
